Was a very accommodating stay

The location is very close to central Kyoto and the subway is only a couple meters away. There are food places within a 90m radius and a 7eleven right outside.

Can't really think of anything that was unsatisfactory.

good location, comfortable, but just a place to sleep nothing else.

The location of the place it´s really god, with much convenient transportation close by, it is comfortable for solo travels, doesn't offer any facilities beyond the toilet, which it was ok clean, not sparkling but lean enough.

I didn't like that the day I arrive the person in charge of the of my checking was leaving already, I send a message that I'll be arriving from 5-6 pm, she sends me the message at 5:50 that she will leave because I didn't show up, and even if I replied immediately that I was almost there she almost left. What I mean is that hostel normally are more flexible with these times, for international travelers, it´s always confusing to take local transportation and unexpected things can happen, and I expect that a hostel is more flexible than they were.

Decent price for the value.

Good price, not sure was low because the Corona virus... but 1010 yen for one night is really affordable since the bed was good.

No face towel available, should be! And the toilet sink was inside the shower room. Should be separated. Really annoying wait someone finish using the shower only to have chance to use the sink to wash the hands or brushing the teeth's.

Very Good

The staff is the best. I needed to check out a few days before of what i was thinking and they give me back the money from the taxes. I didn't expect any money back and that was a really nice thing. The bed is really confortable.

Was a little bit hard to find the place. Only have a sign in the door but you can't easily see it from the street. After that, the fact to climb up 4 floors by step is not really good for some old people.

Very good balance between price and quality

The team was really warmly welcoming, explanations were clear and the location was quite nice as starting point for visit. I really slept well on the matress too.

The ventilation was not that good, some people opened the window (what was not allowed, but necessary). It was hard to climb on the bed without hurting oneself on the metals bars.

Clean, comfy and convenient

Beds were spacious comfy and clean. The showers and toilets were also very clean! Staff were friendly and helpful. Hostel felt safe and close to the stations and bus stop to all local tourist sites etc. Lots of food and grocery options near by.

Facilities were very limited, No kitchen or such amenities. Not a hostel to hang out and have fun, more just a place to crash but still a viable cheap (for Japan) hostel.
